Howdy Zibbik. I am submitting this comment because I am searching for an 'audio' recording of the friday july 11th performance of Queen at Wembley Stadium in 1986. I have the saturday july 12th performance. But I'd really like the friday performance which was the 1st of the two shows Queen did at Wembley in 1986.
In 1971, four college students got together to form a rock band. Since then, that certain band called Queen have released 26 albums and sold over 300 million records worldwide. The popularity of Freddie Mercury, Brian May, Roger Taylor and John Deacon is stronger than ever 40 years on.
But it was no bed of roses. No pleasure cruise.
Queen had their share of kicks in the face, but they came through and this is how they did it, set against the backdrop of brilliant music and stunning live performances from every corner of the globe. In this film, for the first time, it is the band that tells their story. Featuring brand new interviews with the band and unseen archive footage (including their recently unearthed, first ever TV performance), it is a compelling story told with intelligence, wit, plenty of humor and painful honesty. 'From The Vault' is a new series of live concerts from The Rolling Stones archive which are getting their first official release.
Forum Live In 1975' is the second title in this series. The Rolling Stones Tour Of The Americas '75 was the band's first tour with new guitarist Ronnie Wood.

Even before the dates started there were dramatic scenes in New York City at the official tour announcement when the band unexpectedly turned up on a flatbed truck to play 'Brown Sugar'. After a couple of low key warm-up shows in Louisiana the tour took in 44 dates between the 3rd of June and the 8th of August 1975. They settled into the L.A. Forum for a five night stint from July 9th to 13th and this concert film features the show from July 12th. The footage has now been carefully restored and the sound has been newly mixed by Bob Clearmountain for this first official release of the show. In June of 1982, Queen was at the height of its powers as one of Britain's best rock bands when the played a concert at the MK Bowl in Milton Keynes, not far from London. As one of the group's increasingly rare shows in England, the concert was filmed for British television, but never aired in its entirety.
Queen: On Fire at the Bowl presents the legendary Milton Keynes show in full. Selections include 'Flash,' 'Now I'm Here,' 'Get Down, Make Love,' 'Crazy Little Thing Called Love,' 'Tie Your Mother Down,' 'We Are the Champions,' and more. From The Vault is a new series of live concerts from The Rolling Stones archive, which are getting their first official release.
Hampton Coliseum Live In 1981 is the first title in this series. The Rolling Stones American Tour in 1981 was the most successful tour of that year, taking a then record $50 million dollars in ticket sales. The tour was in support of the critically and commercially successful 'Tattoo You' album. There were fifty dates on the tour, which ran from Philadelphia at the end of September through to Hampton, Virginia on the 18th and 19th of December. The show on December 18th, which was also Keith Richards' birthday, was the first ever music concert to be broadcast on television as a pay-per-view event. The footage has now been carefully restored and the sound has been newly mixed by Bob Clearmountain for this first official release of the show.
As recent events have proven, Led Zeppelin continues to be one of the biggest bands of all time. Along with Black Sabbath and Deep Purple, they are often cited as the Godfathers of Heavy Metal. But there was more to Zeppelin than just heavy riffs. Led Zeppelin's first album serves as a blueprint for what would follow in the rest of their career.
'Led Zeppelin 1' showcased an eclectic mix of styles that would set them apart from their contemporaries. There's a huge debt to the Blues music that they loved so much, which was the initial common thread for Jimmy Page and Robert Plant, with artists such as Howlin' Wolf and Muddy Waters proving particularly influential.
This fascinating program tells the story of the music and artists that have influenced the legendary British Rock pioneers, Led Zeppelin. Down The Tracks continues to examine how the group created their mighty stadium rock sound that helped define the musical backdrop of the '70s, while influencing virtually every heavy metal rock band that came after them. Features live music clips from songs performed by: Son House, Howlin' Wolf, Bukka White, Muddy Waters, Davey Graham And many more. Watch the live music that influenced Led Zeppelin, and learn about the making of one of the best Rock and Roll bands of all time. Nothing Is Easy is a true concert film, combining the classic performances from the festival with a new interview with Ian Anderson, specially shot for the film, and with backstage footage and original interviews from 1970 with Isle of Wight residents and fans attending the festival. Jethro Tull: Nothing Is Easy - Live at the Isle of Wight features the group's festival set in full. Also included in the film is footage of the band's appearance in the Rolling Stones' Rock And Roll Circus performing A Song For Jeffrey with Tony Iommi of Black Sabbath on guitar.
BLACK SABBATH's triumphant 2013 tour-which kicked off in 2013 in Australia-can now be seen by fans around the world via 'Black Sabbath: Live.Gathered in Their Masses' (Vertigo/Republic). Featuring the first-ever live performances of songs from the band's 2013 critically acclaimed 13 album, along with BLACK SABBATH classics. Black Sabbath: Live.Gathered in Their Masses was recorded April 29 and May 1, 2013 in Melbourne, Australia when the band-OZZY OSBOURNE (vocals), TONY IOMMI (guitar) and GEEZER BUTLER (bass) and guest musician TOMMY CLUFETOS (drums) -kicked off their world tour in support of their 13 album, which entered the charts at #1 in 13 countries (including their first #1 in the U.S.). The Rolling Stones 1978 tour of the USA in support of that year’s “Some Girls” album is considered by fans to be one of their very best. The tour followed immediately on the release of the “Some Girls” album and by the time the band arrived in Texas in mid-July the album had hit the No.1 spot on the US charts.
The tour took a “back to basics” approach, with the band and their music very much at the forefront and little or no elaborate staging. Filmed at the Will Rogers Memorial Center in Fort Worth, Texas, on 18 July 1978, this concert is typical of the tour with the Rolling Stones delivering a raw, energetic performance in front of a crowd who are clearly loving the show.
Many of the tracks from “Some Girls” are included in the live set with a sprinkling of Stones classics from earlier albums. Originally shot on 16mm film, the footage has been carefully restored and the sound remixed and remastered by Bob Clearmountain from the original multitrack tapes. Queen: The Making Of A Night At The Opera tells the track by track story of the album through new interviews with Brian May, Roger Taylor and producer Roy Thomas Baker along with archive interviews with Freddie Mercury and contributions from photographer Mick Rock, Aerosmith guitarist Joe Perry and Ian Hunter from Mott The Hoople amongst others. Illustrated by classic live footage, much of it from the Hyde Park free concert in 1976, and in depth studio analysis the film gives an intimate portrait of the making of a true classic album and is a worthy addition to our acclaimed and highly successful Classic Albums series. Filmed during a European leg of the Rolling Stones' Steel Wheels tour, this production boasts 15 songs and an extraordinary stage set with inflatable floozies (for Honky Tonk Woman ) and wild dogs (rather cleverly for Street Fighting Man ).
The Stones' set emphasizes material from the late 1960s and early `70s ( Tumbling Dice, Happy, You Can't Always Get What You Want ). Highlights include Paint It Black, at once brutal and delicate, as well as a muscular Rock And A Hard Place, a psychedelicized 2,000 Light Years From Home, and a cheeky It's Only Rock `N Roll. Once kings of a gloriously sloppy sound, the Stones prove to be as effective in their artistic maturity with small, breathtaking touches as they are with chunky orchestration. Guitarists Keith Richards and Ron Wood play as if they are of one mind, Richards providing powerful leads while his partner captures some of the texture of the group's original recordings.
Bassist Bill Wyman, still in the band at this phase, offers wit and an encyclopedic grasp of rhythm & blues history, while drummer Charlie Watts adds control and swing. Mick Jagger prowls, climbs around the set and delivers all the charismatic goods for adoring audiences, even touching the forbidden fruit again in a feverish performance of Sympathy For The Devil. The Doors were founded by Ray Manzarek and Jim Morrison in Los Angeles in 1965. They released their eponymous debut album, which contained their hit single “Light My Fire,” in 1967 and went on to be one of the most controversial and influential rock acts of the sixties.
Jim Morrison’s early death in Paris in 1971 only served to fuel their legend and both he and the band have continued to enjoy iconic status for more than fifty years. Watch The Doors as they tour Europe in 1968, taking in London, Stockholm, Frankfurt and Amsterdam. These rare live performances are introduced and linked by Paul Kantner and Grace Slick who, as members of Jefferson Airplane, shared the bill on this historic tour. Live in Europe is part of The Doors Digital Festival on Qello Concerts: www.QelloConcerts.com/vip/TheDoorsDigitalFestival The Doors Digital Festival is a curated collection of concerts and documentaries of, not only The Doors, but also of other artists that fans of The Doors will love. Part 2 Fleetwood Mac: Members Mick Fleetwood, John McVie, Lindsey Buckingham, and Stevie Nicks unite for an evening that revisits the passion that propelled them to the top of the charts in a night of rocking classics The culmination of wrenching lyrics, harmonious delivery and purposeful melodies maintained by the rhythms of Fleetwood and McVie (the band’s namesakes), have endured several stylistic incarnations over the decades.
Other performances include the dramatic “Rhiannon,” the early hit “Say You Love Me” and new releases “Peacekeeper,” “Goodbye Baby,” and Say You Will.”. Toto may be past its prime as a multi-platinum recording band, but Live in Amsterdam offers abundant proof that their performances are as electrifying as ever. Recorded in Amsterdam's Heineken Music Hall on February 17, 2003, near the end of Toto's 25th anniversary world tour, this dynamic concert serves as a cheerful reminder that Toto have been alive and well and recording steadily since 1978. The band's 2002 release Through the Looking Glass was an album of covers, two of which are welcomed here: 'While My Guitar Gently Weeps' is a prime showcase for guitarist Steve Lukather, and 'Bodhisattva' is a tight, meticulous tribute to Toto's original drummer, the late Jeff Porcaro, and his classic sessions with Steely Dan. The mega-hits 'Africa,' 'Rosanna,' and 'Hold the Line' are perfectly executed, and in a band full of talented singers, lead vocalist Bobby Kimball sounds better than ever. Two impressive medleys show the band in full gear as a comfortable unit of seasoned professionals, highlighted by impeccable work from keyboardist David Paich, bassist Mike Poracaro, and ace drummer Simon Phillips (who also produced and mixed this recording for this program). And while 35 minutes of Porcaro's backstage home-video might seem frivolous, it shows a band that's still having fun, as reflected in the beaming smiles of their appreciative Amsterdam audience.
In 1969 Deep Purple premiered Jon Lords groundbreaking Concerto For Group And Orchestra at the Royal Albert Hall. Thirty years later, in September 1999, Deep Purple and the London Symphony Orchestra returned to the same venue for the concertos second performance. The centrepiece of the concert is of course the concerto itself but it is preceded by a short set of other Jon Lord tracks, songs from Roger Glovers Butterfly Ball (sung by Ronnie James Dio) and Ian Paices jazz arrangement of the early Purple classic Wring That Neck. Following the concerto are five Deep Purple classics culminating with Smoke On The Water. This concert features Deep Purple playing their classic hits with the accompaniment of a full contemporary orchestra conducted by Stephen “BK” Bentley-Klein.
The orchestrated arrangements give an added depth and range to the familiar songs and the band, who are clearly enjoying the experience, deliver one of their finest performances. With a career stretching back into the late sixties and global album sales in excess of 100 million, Deep Purple need no introduction. They continue to record and perform around the world on an ongoing basis and remain of the finest hard rock bands on the planet as this live concert clearly shows. The Dance finds Fleetwood Mac rekindling their late ‘70s magic on stage with mostly successful results. Old friends and sparring partners Stevie Nicks, Lindsey Buckingham and Christine McVie harmonize and take turns in the spotlight, backed as before by the sturdy rhythm section of John McVie and Mick Fleetwood. The Doors Soundstage Performances are a truly unique compilation of three completely different Doors performances at three distinct stages in their career.
The concept of the Soundstage Performances laid the way to assemble all three appearances. The majority of the material has never been seen before. Not only is it rare, but it is startlingly great.
Providing commentary are the two remaining Doors: John Densmore and Robby Krieger, plus the late Ray Manzarek. Even without an audience, The Doors mesmerize, playing for nothing but the cameras. Morrison delivers electrifying performances, whether reciting poetry in Denmark proceeding “Love Me Two Times” or getting it on during “The Soft Parade,” Jim Morrisons’ charisma, beauty, and brilliance shine during all. Enjoy these Soundstage Performances along with many more documentaries and full-length Doors concerts during The Doors Digital Festival on Qello Concerts: www.QelloConcerts.com/vip/TheDoorsDigitalFestival The Doors Digital Festival is a curated collection of concerts and documentaries of, not only The Doors, but also of other artists that fans of The Doors will love.
